Welcome to my personal home page

I'm Kyle Blizzard, and this is my personal home page. This site has existed in some form or another since 1996. Its past incarnations have been created with a plethora of software ranging from Sausage Software's HotDog HTML Editor and Microsoft FrontPage 97 in the early years to various editions of Visual Studio. This current incarnation was written in GitHub's Atom editor. Not because I particularly like that environment but just because it happens to have an FTP extension that allows me to relive the glory days of FrontPage Server Extensions with "live" editing. Please see my extended ranting on the state of web development.

I will put here things that I find interesting. If you share similar interests, you may also find it interesting.

I enjoy programming, firearms, Jeeps, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park Jeeps, old video games, old Jurassic Park video games, Linux, winning, guitar, and probably anywhere from one to more things.

The catalyst for me even bothering to make a new interblog web sitepage in this year 2020 was the desire to document, for posterity and to keep my friends updated, my efforts in building a replica Jurassic Park Jeep. I really didn't want to make a Facebook page for it, and I didn't think a Facebook photo album was adequate for my often lengthy dissertations. I also would love to stop feeding the monster, but it's, unfortunately, my primary method of communication with my friends.
